MY DOG HATES TO TAKE MEDICATION

Dear Jubilee: 

My dog hates to take medications, and I am sick of trying to stuff them down his throat the way the vet told me to. What can I do?

Try any of the following suggestions:

You can put the pills in yoghurt, cream cheese, peanut butter, canned squeeze cheese, (cheddar bacon flavor is known to work), slices of hot dogs with the pills stuck in the middle, canned salmon on a spoon with the pills laced into it, or any other malleable thing that they like to eat, even stick a pill in a piece of meat.
