KEEPING TEETH CLEAN WITH RAW FOODS

Dear Jubilee,

I don't feed raw all the time but I do give my dogs chicken necks on occasion in the mornings. I started doing this to clean their teeth and it does wonders. They absolutely love them, even my 17 year old terrier mix. I was not going to do this but a friend helped me get up the courage to do it. Now, I get them a bag of organic chicken necks and give them three each as a treat: they just crunch, crunch, crunch. I understand that the bones are not dangerous because they are NOT cooked so they are not brittle. The rest of the time I feed a premium food that has good Omega 3 oils in it.

Great Toothpaste!

Dear Great Toothpaste!

Great idea, and for people with bigger dogs, three or four chicken wings a week fed away from their meals are also good toothbrushes and help keep their teeth pearly white.
